Souplantation was my go to growing up so I was super excited to try soup n fresh and it did not disappoint!! I did take off one star because the ice cream machine was out of order but the service was incredible especially for it being so busy. I couldn’t recommend it enough just be prepared to wait 30 minutes to an hour.

Had a random Monday off, so I decided to visit my mom and take her out for lunch. I was really excited to finally try this “Souplantation dupe!” Parking: They’re located in a plaza, and they have a large parking lot. Finding a spot can be difficult. Ambiance/Environment: Despite whether you’re coming in on a weekend or weekday, you’ll always be waiting. The hostess told us they’ve had a line since they opened. We came in around 11:30am, and there was a line. We were actually seated quickly as families were consistently leaving. It’s really clean inside! Very modern. Plenty of indoor seating, but no outdoor seating. Service: Everyone was quick and efficient! There are a lot of workers, and their communication is on point. Food: We started off with the salad bar, which is the largest bar. They offered different salads with lots of toppings and dressings. Everything tasted absolutely fresh! Next, we went to the soup & pasta bar. I looove their baked potato soup and Alfredo pasta! The bakery bar seemed to be consistently empty with few pieces of bread. I did try their cheesy garlic bread and baked potatoes, which were really good. The fruits were fresh, and the rice pudding & tapioca were amazing! Pricing: Definitely worth its price! My mom and I enjoyed everything! We’ll definitely be coming back!

I drove up from San Diego and I was so excited to see a modern fresh looking restaurant that is so incredibly nostalgic for me growing up with Souplantations down here in San Diego. The food was almost identical and in some cases I think it actually tastes better! I would say the only thing that seemed different was the dressing for the Chinese chicken salad. The dressing was a little bit more runny but it still tasted good. If you are a fan of Souplantation you need to go support this amazing business, they also just opened a location in Chino!

If you're in Rancho Cucamonga and craving variety, Soup ‘n Fresh is a hidden gem that delivers. The salad bar is incredibly impressive, offering an abundance of fresh toppings—everything from crisp cucumbers to roasted sunflower seeds, olives, cheeses, and more. You can customize your salad exactly how you like it. Beyond that, they offer a generous selection of soups—hearty, flavorful, and always hot. The baked potatoes are fluffy and warm, perfect with a scoop of sour cream or cheese. The mac & cheese and spaghetti are comforting and tasty, especially for families with kids. Don’t miss the dessert section—soft-serve ice cream and other sweets cap off the meal perfectly. The place is clean, the service is friendly, and the choices are unmatched for a buffet-style dining experience. It’s a perfect spot for a casual, satisfying meal that leaves you feeling both full and happy.

So excited to find Soup 'n Fresh here. I'm a longtime fan of Sweet Tomatoes, and have craved it since they closed down awhile back. This is everything I remember and loved about Sweet Tomatoes/Soup Plantation. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious. The price for one adult at lunch, with a tea added, was 21. It's buffet style, so you get your money's worth. The staff is gracious and friendly, and the whole place was clean. I suggest making a reservation (at least a couple weeks advance), unless you're okay waiting in line. I arrived one hour before opening and there were already about a dozen people waiting outside, and it kept building quickly. Except for the lines, I was extremely happy and impressed with the experience and will be back for more.

I had been a long-time fan of the previous establishment at this location, and am absolutely *thrilled* to find that not only everything about it I enjoyed has been recreated by the new owners, but they achieved an even cleaner, fresher aesthetic - and the food is absolutely top-notch! Admittedly, I was deterred by the line the first time I discovered this place (which was by mere chance while driving by on a weekend) - the guy at the back of the line told me wait-times were nearing 90 minutes, and my blood-sugar informed me I would be taking a rain-check. Well, while yesterday's rain was just coincidental, it's serendipity that I remembered to come back, because I only had to wait about 15 minutes (it was about 8pm on a Friday). However, while grabbing a cold plate from the ample stacks and filling it from the smorgasbord of various sundry greens, mixes, garden-concoctions, and assorted dishes that run the gamut from stuff you'd find at a 1950s pot-luck (yes, there is carrot-raisin-salad, and no, you don't know why you only ever have it so rarely, because it's so good, lol) to specialty creations offered du jour, I had to double-check what time they'd opened, because it looked like the sign had just been flipped, everything was so spotless. This trend would carry over throughout my visit, from the beverage-dispensers to the restrooms. The staff was 100% courteous, helpful, and attentive to my needs. There were copious amounts stationed at ample vantage-points, and yet it never felt like anyone was hovering or waiting for something to do (or standing around on their phone, like I'd be probably too tempted to refrain from if I worked there, lol). It felt efficient without being rushed or overly industrious, and I never sensed any pressure to increase my tempo (I stayed for a leisurely 45 minutes to an hour, and though I didn't take more than one trip, I would not have hesitated to if I weren't so full of delicious pozole). I have literally exactly two points of constructive criticism: 1) They should label which of the dressings is fat-free (I had to ask; it's Italian - and I know, I know; it's *always* Italian, but still, a label would be nice). 2) Either I didn't see the shredded cabbage, or they didn't offer it, but if you're going to offer pozole, you should also have that. I probably just didn't see it, but when I looked it up for the spelling, the images came up, and I thought "oh, yeah, *that's* all that was missing..." Obviously, I love the place, so 10/10 will come back again :) N.B. Souplantation is a terrible name, anyway. There, I said it.

Soup N Fresh nailed it with their soup and salad concept. This is one of two locations. The food was worth the price and our party of 3 ate until we were full. They have staff members who roam around constantly clearing dishes off the table to make room for more trips to the salad, soup bakery, and desert bar. I spent most of my time eating all the soups. The place was constantly full with a small line outside the restaurant. It shows that people love this place so much that they don't mind waiting. Wish they were closer.

I was skeptical, but I think this is my new spot. Worth every penny. I underestimated the salad bar and couldn't eat past two plates The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, the process is easy. If you love salads you will love this place. My favorite honestly was the alfrado. It reminds me of the hometown buffet's salad and soup bar back in the day...
